Hair on your body lasts for weeks. The hair on your head is there for years. The 3 stages of hair growth starts with the anagen phase, it will determine the length of your hair. Hair that is removed from the anagen stage is more effective for long term hair reduction.
The pilosebaceous unit consists of:
- The Root,
- Bulb,
- Papilla,
- It’s appendages, arrector pili muscle, and the sebaceous gland.
Fun fact: The face has 3,200 follicles per square inch! The hair on your head grows half an inch per month (on average).

Get your hair trimmed every few weeks to help it grow and start over in its phases.
